We may have overlooked a qualified candidate the first time around. If the front-runner doesn’t deliver, the runner-up gets a 30-day provisional contract.
Because dating—like HR—is hire slow, fire fast, and never ever rehire.
Sometimes the second-round pick ends up being the best long-term fit.
(But let’s be honest… the competition stays open until someone secures the role. 😉)
Great system which I think will work for both sexes (ooops guess you know where I stand on XX/XY)
My question is whether there should be a Step 8 if the front runner proves a bust
Is it restart from the beginning, or can a runner up advance to the pole position on the prospect ladder?
Or would it be better to open up the competition again and see if runner up moves into a front runner on the second pass?
Love it!
